Agnetta joined the EYECAN community team in August 2020, and became Community Team Leader in January 2024.
Agnetta is an Occupational Therapist and had been working for the Government of Jersey for 20 years before joining EYECAN as a sight support officer. She has worked in rehabilitation services, wheelchair services, and older people’s mental health services during her career.
Agnetta is delighted to be leading the community team and enjoys being out and about visiting people in their own homes. Agnetta’s role is to enable islanders to be as independent as possible with whatever activities of daily living are important to them. Whether through reablement programs, assistive equipment or environmental adaptations, Agnetta will work with you in your home, work or in the community to enable you to do what YOU want to do.
EYECAN is Jersey’s only charity focused solely on supporting Islanders with sight impairment. We work closely with all age groups, from infants through to the elderly, enabling people with a sight impairment and their families to benefit from social events, activities and tailored support.
The Society is registered with the Jersey Charity Commission Registration Number 244; the Association of Jersey Charities registration number 109 and is registered with the Jersey Financial Services Commission as a non-profit organisation number 362
