We are delighted to once again be supporting the Jersey Festival of Words 2025, celebrating 10 years as a local festival. The event will take place from Friday, 19th September until Sunday, 28th September and boasts a wide range of inspiring talks, lively discussions, creative workshops and unforgettable performances.

The event organisers aim to make the event fully inclusive and staff will be receiving sighted guide awareness training from the EYECAN team, to support their accessibility arrangements – further details regarding accessibility are available in the programme.
EYECAN are also delighted to be welcoming a local poet to our social club during the event and we will also have a presence in the Freedom Centre on Saturday 27th September, please do stop by and say hello.
EYECAN is Jersey’s only charity focused solely on supporting Islanders with sight impairment. We work closely with all age groups, from infants through to the elderly, enabling people with a sight impairment and their families to benefit from social events, activities and tailored support.
