Emmaline Hunter
Sight Support Assistant
Emmaline joined EYECAN in 2022 as a Sight Support Assistant in the Community Team. She has had many years of experience working in the Care Sector and has spent the last 8 years working at the General Hospital.
Her main job role at EYECAN involves working within the Community Team to support and enable users with sight impairment to maintain and develop independence with all aspects of their daily routine. This can include visiting clients in their own homes, providing support in the use of equipment and adaptations, or accessing their local community.
Emmaline also really enjoys spending time and helping with the various Social Clubs at the Westlea Centre.
In my time at EYECAN I feel I have learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoy all aspects of working for the Charity
