What’s coming up 

  • You and EYE: Our 2026 sessions will start again on the 9th of January. 
  • Swimming and cycling: Members can enjoy swimming at Cheshire Homes on 12th January and 9th February, and cycling (subject to weather) at Les Quennevais on 16th January and 13th February 
  • Our 300 Club: Tickets for our 300 club, priced at £24 for the year, are available to purchase until 20th January, please email info@eyecan.je for more information. 
  • Social Club: Art and Social Clubs will resume on the 8th of January. 
  • Family Skating Session: We have a skating session on Thursday 8th January at 4pm. Please email for more information.

2025 in Review – From Our CEO 
  • Reaching More Islanders – We’ve expanded outreach and partnerships to make our services more accessible. 
  • 10-Year Milestone – October marked 10 years since EYECAN rebranded—a proud achievement. 
  • Looking Ahead – Plans are underway for our 140th anniversary in 2026, celebrating heritage and progress. 
  • Social Activities – Art & Social Clubs thrived, alongside new cycling, swimming and festive workshops. 
  • Coffee Mornings – “You & EYE” sessions, supported by BDO Jersey, welcomed new clients and built community. 
  • Investing in People – Volunteer training launched, and two team members gained mobility qualifications. 
  • Supporting Families – Our Children’s Voucher Scheme continues thanks to a generous legacy donation. 
  • Advocacy & Accessibility – We’ve worked with Government and partners to make Jersey more inclusive. 
  • Stronger Partnerships – Joining Visionary UK and collaborating with charities across the islands opened new opportunities. 
  • Listening to You – Your feedback inspired ideas for 2026, including cooking, history clubs and cinema visits.
