EYECAN, Jersey’s only charity focused solely on supporting Islanders with sight impairment, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to manage and organise our social activities (including external events) for its clients. The role will involve working up to 30 hours a week.
The ideal candidate will have an ability to communicate effectively and interact empathetically with our clients; be organised and able to work on their own initiative as well as being a strong team player. Excellent administrative and computer skills are essential.
Health & Safety awareness is advantageous, including the development and implementation of risk assessments. However, training will be provided.
The postholder will also work alongside our fantastic pool of volunteers, ensuring attendance and providing support for those assisting with our social activities.

This is envisaged to be a permanent position, working from EYECAN headquarters at Westlea, St Martin, Jersey.
