What's coming up
- You and EYE drop in sesions: Our monthly drop-in sessions welcome all islanders living with sight loss to come along and meet others, enjoy a free coffee or tea, and ask the EYECAN team any questions you might have. Our You and EYEs are held on the first Friday of every month, from 12:00 pm – 1:15 pm, at Windward House, Route de La Liberation, St. Helier. All welcome.
The following dates for You and EYE are: 4th of September & 2nd October
- Swimming and Cycling: The dates for our Cycling and Pool Physio sessions are:
Cycling Dates: 11th and 25th September, and 9th
Pool Physio dates: 5th October and 2nd November
Please get in touch if you’re interested in trying our Cycling or Pool Physio sessions.
- History Exhibition: We are very excited to share that we have an exhibition at the Jersey Museum in their Link Gallery. The exhibition, which showcases our 140 incredible years, will run from the 6th – 27th August, entry is free.
July Round up
- Children’s Day: We had a lovely day at the annual Children’s Day, thank you to everyone who stopped to chat to us about our Children’s Charity Voucher Scheme.
- ITV at Cycling: It was wonderful morning for our cycling session in July, where we were joined by the ITV who chatted to our clients about how much they enjoy our cycling sessions. This segment will screen sometime around the middle of August, date TBA.
- 140th Anniversary Tea Party: A fantastic day was had by all at our Client’s Tea Party in celebration of our 140th anniversary! It was a great day with wonderful food and entertainment. Thank you to all who came along.
- 300 Club Winners: Congratulations to the winners of July’s 300 club draw. 1st Prize of £150 – No. 186, 2nd Prize of £75 – No. 129, 3rd Prize of £50 – No. 172. (Winners have been contacted).
- Volunteers needed for Macular Society: The Macular Society, who hold their meetings at our Westlea Centre, are in need of volunteers. If you are interested in helping out, please contact us for more information.

Every contribution helps us maintain and grow the free or low‑cost services that we provide to those who need them most. All donations stay on the island, directly benefiting our local community and enabling EYECAN to make a meaningful impact.
